Hello @TemitayoA.81706 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

You are trying to set up an Okta AI Agent in a demo account, have assigned it to a user, but the agent is not appearing in that user's dashboard even though the assignment shows as active.

The issue is likely that application visibility is not enabled for the AI Agent. In Okta, applications (including AI Agents) must have visibility explicitly turned on before they appear in an end user's dashboard, even after assignment.

    Solution:

    1. Navigate to the Okta Admin Console and go to Applications → Applications.
    2. Locate your AI Agent in the applications list and click on it to open its details.
    3. Click the General tab, then scroll to Application visibility settings.
    4. Enable the visibility toggle to make the AI Agent visible to end users.
    5. Save your changes.
    6. Have the user log out and log back into their Okta dashboard, or refresh the page. The AI Agent tile should now appear.

If the agent still does not appear after these steps, verify that:

    • The user account is active and has no status issues.
    • The assignment to the user is still showing as active (check Applications → [Your AI Agent] → Assignments).
    • The user's browser cache is cleared, or try accessing the dashboard from an incognito/private window.

Regarding your Open Claw connection on your virtual PC: ensure that the AI Agent configuration includes the correct endpoint URL and authentication credentials for your Open Claw instance, and that network connectivity from your Okta tenant to your virtual PC is properly configured. If you encounter connection errors after the visibility issue is resolved, verify firewall rules and network routing between your Okta environment and the virtual machine hosting Open Claw.
