Hello @TemitayoA.81706 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

You are trying to set up an AI agent called Open Claw in your Okta environment and have assigned it to users, but you cannot see it listed under those users' assigned applications or resources.

This visibility issue typically stems from either incomplete provisioning, a connection state problem, or a mismatch between where the agent was created and where you are looking for it.

Root Cause: AI agents and third-party integrations in Okta require both a successful connection handshake and proper assignment through the Admin Console. If the agent has not fully connected or if the assignment has not been synchronized, it will not appear in the user's view.

Solution: Follow these steps to verify and complete the setup:

    1. Log in to your Okta Admin Console with administrator credentials.
    2. Navigate to Applications → Applications to locate the Open Claw agent entry.
    3. Verify the connection status by opening the agent's configuration page and checking for a "Connected" or "Active" status indicator. If it shows "Pending" or "Disconnected," the agent has not yet established a valid connection to your Okta environment.
    4. Check the agent's authentication credentials — ensure that any API keys, OAuth tokens, or connection secrets provided by Open Claw have been correctly entered into the Okta application configuration without typos or expiration.
    5. Confirm user assignment by navigating to the agent's Assignments tab and verifying that the users or groups you intended to assign are listed there with an "Assigned" status (not "Pending").
    6. Clear your browser cache and log out of the Admin Console, then log back in to refresh the user-facing view. Sometimes the UI does not immediately reflect newly assigned applications.
    7. If the agent still does not appear for assigned users, check whether the agent requires an additional activation step — some integrations require users to accept an invitation or complete an enrollment flow before the agent becomes visible in their account.
    8. Contact Okta Support with your tenant name and the agent's application ID if the connection status remains unclear or if the assignment does not synchronize after 15 minutes.
