Hello @TemitayoA.81706 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

Okta supports AI agent integration through multiple provider platforms and configuration methods. If you are attempting to set up an AI agent for a demo, the process depends on which provider platform you are using and whether you are importing an existing agent or registering a new one.

Solution: Follow the AI agent setup workflow in Okta

    1. Verify your provider app configuration. If you are importing an AI agent from a specific provider (such as AWS Identity and Access Management, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Claude, or DataRobot), complete any provider-specific configuration steps first. See the Okta documentation on provider app-specific configurations for your chosen platform.
    2. Navigate to the Admin Console and go to Directory > AI Agents.
    3. Import or register your AI agent using the appropriate method for your provider. If importing from an app, enable AI agent imports for that app and follow the import workflow.
    4. Assign owners to the AI agent. Go to the Owners tab, click Add owners, and assign at least one owner (Okta recommends at least two owners for governance).
    5. Link an application (optional). If you want the AI agent to act on behalf of users, go to the User Sign-on tab, click Link an application, and select the app from the list.
    6. Configure credentials if required. For agents from custom code platforms, go to the Credentials tab and add a public JSON Web Key (JWK) for authentication.
    7. Activate the AI agent. On the AI agent page, select Actions > Activate, then click Confirm.

For detailed provider-specific setup instructions, consult the Okta documentation on AI agent configuration for your chosen provider platform.
