    Hi Abdoulaye Ndoye ,

From the end user dashboard you can reset the security question . Once logged in you will need to hoover your name and go to Settings on the to side of the screen. Select Security Methods > From there you can remove/add the security question .

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

That's great if the end user can get to their dashboard. However, in this case the end user can't get to their dashboard because they don't know the answer to their security question! How are admins supposed to help these users?

Click on the User's account, click on Reset Password button, select Temporary Password. Copy the temp password and send it the user. They will have to log into Okta, click on their Name in the upper right corner and select Settings then Edit Profile to update their Security Question/Response.

If you have already reset their password (sent out the reset email) you will need to Suspend the user, then Reactivate the user. Then you will be able to Reset their Password by generating the Temporary Password.
