BenD.08378 (Customer) asked a question.

Is anyone also having issues signing on to org apps with Okta on current Microsoft Edge?

A few days ago I started getting issues where most apps would get stuck on the redirect page (the one with the Okta loading hexagon composed of many circles). I checked with my org's IT desk and they said they don't see any issues in the logs and Okta works fine on other browsers (safari). I get the same stuck issue in an edge incognito browser. The plug-in doesn't help and neither did restarting okta desktop app or restarting my machine.

Curious if this is a unique issue (maybe with a particular edge version I have installed) or if it's a known issue.

Thanks!

Hi @BenD.08378 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

I checked with my colleagues on the Okta Support side and did not find any similar reports as of yet.

Check to see if perhaps any other add-on is conflicting with the Okta login flow.

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Click the Extensions icon on the right side of the address bar.
    • Select Manage extensions from the menu.
    • Click the blue toggle switch next to the add-on to turn it off.
    • Then retry authentication with the add-ons off; Do it one by one to rule them out.

If you continue experiencing issues, have your IT team open a support case with us and my colleagues can investigate further.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
