  • Hi @SophieB.25738 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Please note that this is not the appropriate channel for this type of request.

While Okta provides the Product platform (Okta Verify app, IAM, SSO, etc.), individual account management, app access and access policies are handled by your organization or third-party service/app provider at tenant level.

Please reach out to your organization's or service provider's IT support or Help Desk so they can review the matter and provide further assistance.

In the meantime, to clarify the situation, the Okta Verify app works as a Multifactor Authentication method by binding the device on which you have it installed with your Okta account. If you remove the account from the app or delete the app from the device, the link is broken and you will need to leverage a different Authenticator (ie. SMS, Email, Google Authenticator, YubiKey etc) if available to log into Okta and re-enroll the device.

Otherwise, only an administrator with access to your organization can trigger a (re)enrollment process.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
