sqexs (sqexs) asked a question.

Android 15 is released but doesn't meet security requirements?

When trying to launch any okta workspace app like slack or google workspace I get an error saying my device does not meet the security requirements update to android 12, 13, 14 (see screenshot). However I am running android 15 (not beta) which was released recently (https://blog.google/products/android/android-15/). I spoke to my company okta admin and they said its a dynamic policy set by Okta not something they can change.

How long can we expect before the 15 gets added to the supported list? The final beta was out for a while, it's strange to cut off users that want to keep their devices up to date.

Edit, it seems the supported platforms list for Okta Verify has been updated to android 15, but the issue remains when trying to actually access any apps

Great! It's working now, thank you!

In the future it would be great if beta versions of android could be enabled; not fully supported as it's beta, but not blocked, for those who run the beta
