I am trying to clear the groups out of a user using a workflow but it crashes when it tries to remove groups that are managed by rules, is there a way or a field I can use to see if the user is managed by a rule on the group it is trying to remove?

Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I have done some research but unfortunately I wasn't able to find a way in which you could achieve your use case through Workflows, therefore I assume that you could submit a feature request in case you would like to see such functionality. The best way to file a feature request would be from the community site.
Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility. Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.
Additionally, could iterate through all of the group rules, then iterate through each the user's groups to see if the group is assigned to the rule but that would require a more complex workflow. I also managed to find the below article about how to search for group rules in workflows:

Got it, how can I submit this as a feature request?
For the meantime I have the action running on a try catch action so it keeps running through the flow after it throws the error.
