Usages of OKTA in application
Hi Expert,
I wanted to get clarified on one doubt regarding OKTA usages. As enterprise we have many application running both ( on-premise [legacy] , cloud [SaaS, Paas]) same as all other organization. Now to manage user access to need to add user to specific group under each application.
Can OKTA help here to manage application authorization ? like For Application-A , User1 & User2 to be developer role , user3 to be Admin but for Application-B User3 is just normal user . Is this grouping & access level comes under OKTA capability ?

The answer is "YES" but with a " * " . The " * " being that this type of capability would mainly depend on the application, as you would be leveraging its API to perform Provisioning actions after downloading the schema before assignments.
You'll have to look up each app's specific documentation to find out exactly what the limitations are. The Okta Help Center should offer implementation documentation for all apps in the Okta Integration Network (OIN).
