NikolaosG.68071 (Customer) asked a question.

How can I get a report of Applications usage on the last 3 months?

Hello Community,

I need to remove unused applications from Okta. So I would like to create a report of the application usage for the last 3 months. Like ho many times was an Okta application accessed on the last 90 days

Thank you

Nick

Hi!! Great question with a really good use case. Please navigate to Reports --> Reports --> "Application Usage".

From here, you can select the application you wish to view and the date range. Hit "Request Report" and you will be emailed a report in CSV format shortly afterwards. In it you will see the person, login id, and last logon date/time.

    I hope that helps!! Thanks!

    Hello Don,

    Thank you for your reply.

The truth is that I want to see all the apps and how many times they have been accessed in the last 3 months.

We have 450 apps on out Okta and it is not ideal to do this for each application.

    Thank you

    Nick

We're in the same situation, Nikolaos, and have been complaining about it to our Okta team for a long time. The reporting mechanism that Don referred to is the only one available at this time and it's terrible. It's really just a system log query that counts login events for the app you select. And you can select "All" apps, but even a week's worth of logins for all apps will produce a file that's so large as to be almost unmanageable. And any apps that have had no activity during the queried period will be missing from the report since no login events will have been recorded for them.

    Cheers,

    Mike
