We have external security system which inserts the data to AD and then there is Okta and AD integration (Upsync).Also JIT is enabled and new users will be created when they sign in to Okta.

My question is what is the best way to add this user that is created through JIT to specific Okta groups through API calls? The problem is that the logic on which group they should be added is in an external system.

We can use event hook to add users to groups at the time user creation but as it has delays we are reluctant to use it as user will experience delay . we need this to be immediate so they could access specific applications immediately with out any delays.

Is there any ways that I can programmatically achieve this.
