  • Hello @otgmz (otgmz)

I hope you are having a great day

well Workflows requires GmailO365 Mail or Send Grid to send emails generally so this would not be possible without use the email account.

you can confirm it by checking the information in the link below:

    https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/HOW-TO-Add-recipients-to-send-email-cards-in-Okta-Workflows?language=en_US

Please let us know if this was useful and allow you to solve your problem.

    Have a great day ahead

    Regards

  • Hi @otgmz (otgmz) also posting here to assist other customers. If you were needing to send a pre-defined email (like Activate user you could pass the sendEmail = true query parameter in the Custom API card) which would send the canned Okta core email.

From your update in the case, the requirement is to be able to send custom email from workflows and unfortunately, you will need to have Gmail, O365 Mail or SendGrid (or possibly your own custom API exposed over the internet that could send emails).

Please let us know if you have any other questions about this.

    Thanks,

    AJ
