LenoreA.71804 (Customer) asked a question.

IP address activation emails are sent from?

One of our customers is not getting the activation emails when added as users. We know the emails are being sent, and Okta has ascertained the destination emails are not on a blocked list. I need to understand if the emails are sent through an Okta mailer, with its own IP address, or what that IP address is, so we can figure out how to solve the issue.

Has anyone run into a similar problem?

    Hello Lenore,

I hope you are doing fine. This is Alejandro from Okta Technical Support. For proper connectivity to Okta for all Okta agents and end users, add Okta system IP addresses to your allow list based on this AWS-managed list. Please refer to:

    https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Security/ip-address-allow-listing.htm

If the problem persists after allowing the listing in your firewalls, please open a case with Okta Support for further troubleshooting.

    Thank You,
