Currently we have a rule in place which assigns our core apps to full time employees when we activate them. With COVID we are going to be drop shipping computers to new users and they may receive them prior to their official start date. I'm looking at the OKTA expression page and can't seem to find what I need.
What I'm looking to do is to exclude users who's hireDate from Workday is greater than today? I'm hoping I"m just missing it but if not and it's a simple thing to add. The format I get from Workday in this field is like this: 2020-07-28
Thanks in advance!

Exclude them from what? Are you saying that you want to activate those users as you are doing now, which may be before those users' hire date, giving them access to Okta, but not run the rule that assigns the core apps until that hire date? Are you trying to do this with Workflows? You mention expression language and while that might be useful for creating an attribute from the Hire Date I don't think it can, on its own, be used as a trigger to assign users to apps at a specific time, which would be what workflows are for (if you have that feature).
If I understand the problem correctly, have you considered if it might be easier to not activate them until their hire date?
