Regarding Onboarding SuccessFactors as HR source for OKTA and without SSO functionality

Hi Everyone,

We have a requirement where our organization is trying to onboard SuccessFactors into OKTA using SCIM. Can someone help me with the details or relevant articles please.

Thanks in advance.

Our organization is planning to migrate our HR system to SuccessFactors. As part of this migration, we need to integrate SuccessFactors with OKTA. The integration requirements specify that we should not use Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and should enable Provisioning and Deprovisioning.

We plan to use the OAuth 2.0 approach for provisioning. However, we have noticed that it involves Basic Authentication, such as Admin Name and Password. Could someone guide us on how to achieve this integration with OKTA? Additionally, please suggest some helpful articles or references we can follow.

    Thank you!

So you can enabled only Provisioning for the application, I have please see our doc below.

For the SSO part, if you do not want to enable that at this time, that is fine. You can leave the application as SWA and just hide it from your users since they don't need to use it.
