I am familiar with customizing emails that can be generated/sent by Okta. What I'm wondering is if there is a way to disable them altogether in favor of sending them myself.

Using event hooks it would not be difficult to send an Okta event to our messaging service, which would then generate and send the appropriate email. This would allow our marketing team to manage the emails in our communication system and maintain a centralized comms strategy.

Using APIs, I know it's possible as you can pick and choose whether to generate an email. But we would like to use the sign-in widget, which results in Okta generated emails for MFA (for example).

Anyone know if this is possible? (the disabling of Okta emails)
