Disable email option during password reset in admin console.

hi Team,

While resetting password by administrator in OKTA admin console, we need to disable "Send a password reset email" option in Delegated Authentication scenario only setup "Temporary password" option should be enabled.

Please see this discussion from as far back as 2018 on this matter.

    https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D50Z00008C3jZASAZ/disable-email-as-a-password-reset-option?language=en_US

The reference to the Okta Ideas page is gone, but the recommendation regarding the secondary email is still valid.

As for the above, I am not sure you can outright disable that as an option for Admins, but the alternative is that you can choose the temp password and provide it to them.

You can also elect to turn off Self-Service Password Reset for your users as well, assuming that they will not have access to their primary email and you would not want to use their secondary email.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns!

Thanks Don for checking, someone kindly help me by sharing the possibilities to disable the email option in Admin console during password reset. thanks

From what I understand, it is not possible to restrict this as an option for admins within the console. But I hope someone else can provide some more useful info! Thanks!
