RichardP.63382 (Customer) asked a question.

How do I connect a 30 day trial with a developer tenant?

I have a 30-day trial that I initiated from https://www.okta.com/free-trial/. I have integrated this with my Active Directory service. I also have a developer tenant that I set up with https://developer.okta.com/signup/. How do I merge this with the free trial so I can leverage the AD integration with both?

  • Hi Richard and thanks for reaching out!

From what I understand, you want to try and use 1 AD agent on one server for the free trial and 1 AD agent on another server for the dev tenant.

You cannot have 1 Okta agent for 2 Okta tenants. The Okta AD agent creates only 1 API key for itself for 1 Okta org, and cannot have multiple API keys for different domains. You will need a separate windows server to achieve this. If I misunderstood your request, please provide more informations.

    Best Regards,

    Tudor
