Activation Email Requirements for Active Directory Sourced Okta Users

Overview
Active Directory (AD) sourced users do not need to use an activation email link to activate an Okta account. When Delegated Authentication is enabled, and the user status is Active, individuals can sign in directly to Okta to complete the activation process.

Are activation emails required for AD-sourced users?
The activation email is not mandatory for AD-sourced users. The following conditions allow users to sign in and activate the account directly:

The user status displays as Active in Okta.

Delegated Authentication is enabled in the tenant.
