This article provides the steps to remove the Request an Application button from the Okta end-user dashboard.

Log in to the Okta Admin dashboard.

Navigate to Applications > Self-Service.

The Settings tab should be visible. If yes, click Settings.

In the section for User App Requests, click Edit.
- Uncheck the box for Allow users to email "Technical Contact" to request an app.

Click Save.
After these changes, the button to Request an App will no longer appear.
