This article describes how to remove the Add Apps button from the end-user dashboard.

Solution

Follow the steps or watch the video below to learn how to remove the Add Apps button from the Okta portal for end users.

 

  1. Navigate to the Okta Admin dashboard.
  2. Go to the Applications tab and click on Self Service
  3. On the Settings tab page, the section of User App Requests will be displayed
  4. Click the Edit button and uncheck the first and third options from the App Catalog Settings. This will allow users to add personal and org-managed applications.  
  5. Click on the Save button.
