JohnP.58222 (Customer) asked a question.
Okta removed compatibility with WatchOS for number challenges. Are they any brands which support number challenges?
Hello @JohnP.58222 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!
You are asking which smartwatch brands are compatible with Okta Verify for receiving push notifications and number challenges.
Currently, no brands of smartwatches support push notifications with number challenges for Okta Verify.
Regardless of the wearable operating system, Okta does not offer a smartwatch application capable of processing a number matching prompt.
How this impacts the user experience:
If your organization enables the Number Challenge feature for Okta Verify (either for all logins or specifically for high-risk attempts), you cannot complete the login from your wrist. You will be forced to pull out your paired iOS or Android smartphone, open the Okta Verify app, and tap the correct numbers on the phone screen.
Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
