Starting with KB5079473 (Cumulative 3-2026) and its subsequent update patches (KB5078883, KB5085516, KB5086672) and including yesterday's April Cumulative patch, Okta FastPass does not work for our laptop endpoints when they are remote/out of the office. FastPass gets stuck in an endless loop, yet System Log reports all successful logins. Removing these patches from the endpoint restores FastPass functionality.
Is anyone else seeing this issue? Even a fully patched Windows 11 25h2 endpoint experiences this in our environment. Last month, the suggestion from Okta Support was to remove the patch, however all of our endpoints are required to be patched and we rely on FastPass for easy, secure, phishing-resistant MFA logins.

I have checked internally and it seems that there is a combination of Microsoft released Sophos software that causes the issue. Please check their article for a resolution of this issue:
