AlexS.13183 (Customer) asked a question.
We've been using Okta Verify for Windows and have multiple Okta orgs enrolled with it. Now planning to start using Okta Verify for Windows with Desktop MFA. As per the following article https://help.okta.com/oie/en-us/content/topics/oda/windows-mfa/configure-deploy-win-mfa.htm Okta Verify requires to be installed with CLIENTID and CLIENTSECRET. We did not include these parameters with the original roll-out of Okta Verify for windows. Does this mean we would need to re-deploy all Okta Verify for Windows installations in order to use Desktop MFA?
Thanks,

Hi @AlexS.13183 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
Based on this article, I would say that you will need to run the installer again so you can get the "correct ClientID, Client Secret, and Org URL" also please "ensure the new version used for Desktop MFA is equal to or greater than the existing version."
