Hi there,
Running on iOS 18.6.2 and Okta Verify 9.51.0.2025.918.2121
Recently, my Okta Verify has been complaining about network issues. Specifically, when I do a network check it says "Your network settings are preventing Okta Verify from working properly. When I click on Learn More, it says "Certain network settings for DNS can interfere with Okta Verify. If you are on Wi-Fi, try switching to a mobile network. If you are on a mobile network, try switching to Wi-Fi". So this issue only happens when I'm in mobile and goes away on Wi-Fi. I doubt this is my mobile provider so I'm curious if anyone knows of a proper solution to this issue?
Thanks, Chris

I have experienced this as well the past few days. Interesting I was able to resolve by connecting to a VPN service, not sure why that would actually help however.
It seems to have self resolved for now.
Mine is fine on Wi-fi. Just when I'm on my cellular (T-Mobile). I'm beginning to wonder if they are blocking something.
Good call out, I am on Tmobile as well.
Interesting

Thanks. I am on my cellular network so I don't think that's the issue. Appreciate the response!
So oddly enough, my Okta Verify started working correctly. It had been having this DNS issue for a couple months. I didn't do anything on my phone and it's just working now. I wonder if someone from Okta is monitoring this thread and fixed it?
Never mind. I was fine for a couple hours and then problem returned.
@ChrisR.07699 (Customer) - we do monitor the threads, but no change has been made on the Okta side.
As it stands now, the issue is network related and may very well be outside of Okta scope.
That being said, please open a case to have the matter investigated by our colleagues from the Support team.
Regards.
