WasimS.96084 (Customer) asked a question.

I am not able to login into my okta dashboard, by mistakenly deleted Okta Verify App

I am not able to login to the Okta Dashboard as I have deleted the Okta verify mobile app. Also, I am not able to login into the Okta Verify App to get the login code. What should I do to recover my account?

Hello @WasimS.96084 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

If you lose access to your org's Admin Console, the only way to resolve this is with a support ticket. Opening a support ticket is a feature available to paid accounts. You can read more about it in the Workforce Identity Cloud Free Trial Account Support Policy Change article.

If you have a paid production account with us, please leverage it to open a case via the support.okta.com site or call the support line (Customer Support Account ID number required). If those options are not available for you despite having a paid account, please contact your Okta Account Executive or Customer Success Manager, and they will be able to engage the Support team on your behalf.

Unfortunately, if no paid developer or production account is available, the only option left is to sign up for a new free trial or developer account. You may need to use a different email address.

Alternatively, if you do not have a paid account but are interested in getting one, you can contact our Sales team. A paid account could be used to request assistance for a connected free account, but the Sales team would have more details on that.

    Regards.

    - Are there any admins in the tenant? If yes ask them to reset factors for you.

If you were the only admin and if the tenant is paid tenant, you can reach out to support to get it resolved.

  • WasimS.96084 (Customer)

No, I am the only admin and the tenant is not a paid tenant. Also I am not able to create a support ticket as it is showing You Do Not Have Access to Create a Case.

  • RohitU.50441 (Trevonix)

You won't have access to support with free tenant unfortunately.

Do you have the API token by any chance stored?

If yes, you can potentially reset factors or create new account and assign admin permissions via API.

If not I'd sign up for a tenant for the testing in this case.

I am afraid there may not be any way to recover the

    tenant.

I don't have the API token stored. I wanted to remove all the authentications from my okta dashboard, that's why I wanted to recover that account. Is there any other way to reach out Okta?
