Windows devices are showing up as Active, Not Managed

We're facing an issue where Windows devices are showing up as Active, Not Managed in the Okta portal, even though we've followed all the necessary steps.

We tested two cases:

Device 1 was enrolled using MDM. We pushed the Okta Device Trust policy through Hexnode. After signing in to the Okta Verify app, the device status still shows as Active, Not Managed.

Device 2 wasn’t enrolled in Hexnode. We manually installed Okta Verify and signed in, but the result was the same: Active, Not Managed.

We understand there are specific conditions for a device to appear as Managed in the portal, and we believe we've met those requirements. However, both devices continue to show as unmanaged.

Could you help us understand what might be missing on our end, or if there's anything specific we need to check or adjust?

I'm not sure of the specific configuration steps for Hexnode, but I would ensure that the user is using specifically Okta FastPass instead of Okta Verify. It is called Okta Verify on the desktop application, but you need to authenticate with Okta FastPass to be managed and your authentication policies need to reflect that.

I assume you also have the Okta certificate deployed/installed on your devices as well from your Hexnode MDM but I would double check that. It does take some time to deploy and get picked up my Okta in my testing but no longer than 15-30 minutes.
