Unable to import Users from Active Directory

I am unable to import new users from Active Directory. Instead, I receive the message that they are existing users although they do not show up under the Directory > People.

    If you go to directory Integration->Active Directory_>import do you see those imported users there .. if you confirm their assignment and activate , then they will show up under people.

    There are some tabs on the top (ALL, NO, EXACT, PARTIAL , IGNORED).. when you click on each one do you see any ?

    Just below import resuklts , do you see anything like (X imported users need review, Y confirmed etc)?

    No one is listed under any of the tabs (ALL, NO, EXACT, PARTIAL, IGNORED).
