RenatoO.17465 (Customer) asked a question.

Service account saying no admin access for Slack App

Hey,

I have been testing our Slack app on our test instance and have managed to get it all working.

Now I'm ready to put in Production. because I don't want the API of Slack under my name, I've created a service account in Slack and in Okta in order for us to track any changes made.

I have given in Slack Org Owner and in Okta I dont really want to grant Super Admin in Okta, so I have given it Access Admin and API admin.

I'm now getting this error/help/servlet/rtaImage?refid=0EM4z000007Iq8r

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Hello @RenatoO.17465 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

The error seems to be regarding administrator credentials, which makes me wonder if it could be because of an unsupported special character. You can review the configuration guide about that:

    Configuring Provisioning for Slack

You can also try using a private browser window, like Chrome's Incognito mode. This way, there is no active session or history of credentials that could interfere.

    Regards.
