zx31u (zx31u) asked a question.

SSO for Salesforce sandbox

We have configured SSO for one Salesforce Production org by adding an application in Okta. We want one sandbox of the Production also can login by Okta. Should I add a new application in Okta for the sandbox, or use the same application?

Hello @zx31u (zx31u) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

We would recommend to have Production and Sandbox separate, that being said if you want to setup Sandbox in Okta a new application would be the best corse of action.

Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!

In my Salesforce Production, there is a Community site. Should I also create a new application in Okta for the site SSO?

Hello @zx31u (zx31u)  I believe this would be the right decision.
