CherylC.38718 (Customer) asked a question.

How do I set up Okta to access a Salesforce Sandbox?

We currently use Okta SSO to access our Salesforce Production Org. How do I add another tile to my dashboard so I can access a Salesforce Sandbox? I am an Admin in both applications.

When I go to assign an application to my user, Salesforce is not available. It is already assigned to me.

  • Hi @CherylC.38718 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

You will need to setup a new integration of the Salesforce app in your org. Go to Okta Admin Dashboard > Applications > Browse App Catalog > Salesforce.com > Add Integration > Rename the Application Label to something appropriate for the use case like "Salesforce - SANDBOX" and select instance type "Sandbox". From there follow typical setup procedure.
