Okta verify failed to detect device posture

Hi Team,

We configured an authentication policy in Okta so that users can access applications only if they are using a device with Okta Verify installed. We also set up device assurance policy conditions for mobile phones, requiring features like passcode/Face ID to be enabled, Minimum OS version and ensuring the device is not jailbroken etc. However, when a user attempts to log in to Okta, access is denied. The logs indicate that the deny policy is triggered, even though the phone meets all the device assurance conditions. Upon checking the device details in Okta, I noticed that Okta Verify signals are not being collected, especially for iOS devices. For Android phones, the device is being identified as "Linux" in Okta, and access is denied. This makes troubleshooting difficult. Can anybody help on this ?

Hello @wy8bt (wy8bt) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

I was unable to find anything in our documentation on this matter. I would recommend to open a case with Support for additional investigation on this matter, to see if this is a bug or maybe something is miss-configured somewhere.

Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
