JakeC.75881 (Customer) asked a question.

How to create users with conflicting Logon Names.

We are currently switching to Okta as our source of truth. We utilize a logon name format of first initial then last name (ex. John Doe logs in as jdoe). Now I want to create Jane Doe and push her down to AD. We receive an error stating that the username is already assigned to an existing user. Has anyone figured out a workflow or way for Okta to ammend the logon name with an extra charector so that user creation can be completed?

Thanks!
