Box, 8x8, Netsuite and other apps asking to reauthenticate every day-every couple of days from inside Microsoft Teams
Trying to figure out why our users (myself included) are so frequently asked to authenticate via okta verify. Once a user logs into windows and opens MS Teams if we then access one of the mentioned integrated apps (Box, 8x8, Netsuite) Etc we get the Okta prompt and then verify. Sometime we will be good for a few days to a week, Other times if Teams is closed or a reboot happens or maybe nothing at all we get prompted to authenticate again. Is there somewhere to manage the time or reason for reauthentication? Maybe a policy setting or something?

Updating this response for ease of access and reference:
Overview
Users experience frequent prompts to authenticate via Okta Verify when accessing integrated applications such as Box, 8x8, or NetSuite. This behavior occurs because the application session expires, which is controlled by the service provider rather than Okta. Investigate the application-side session settings or network configurations that clear cookies to resolve the issue.
Applies To
Cause
The prompt for re-authentication indicates that the application session expires. Okta does not control the session lifetime on the application side.
Solution
How are frequent Okta Verify prompts resolved?
Investigate the application and network configurations to identify the cause of the session termination.
