itfaz (itfaz) asked a question.
I've noticed that when I customize the code for the hosted Okta signin page (custom Brand w/ custom domain), the banner that would typically show app-specific context on the top of the page "Connecting to <app logo>. Sign in with your account to access <app name>" no longer appears. It's not present in the HTML, so that makes sense.
Is there a way to get that to appear even for apps with custom code? If not, is there some way to get the application's logo into the sign-in page so I could rebuild something like that banner? I've figured out how to access the client ID and the application name, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to access the application logo. Is there a public API to fetch the logo from? An undocumented template variable?

Hi @itfaz (itfaz) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
I’ve looked into this and I’m not finding anything that specifically discussed adding the app logo in the login widget. There were some tangential posts but they were a bit old and I’m not sure the information is still valid. Example: https://devforum.okta.com/t/config-custom-widget-login-theme-and-logo/13996
https://developer.okta.com/docs/guides/custom-widget/main/#style-for-redirect-authentication - mentions “customization per application” but I don’t know if it applies to your exact use case.
My advice would be to reach out to my Developer colleagues via devforum.okta.com to take advantage of their expertise.
Regards.
