8rrl9 (8rrl9) asked a question.

new smartphone

I want to install the app on my new smartphone.

To take over the already existing account, I need to scan a QR code.

How can I generate this QR code on my old device?

    Hi, @8rrl9 (8rrl9)

Thank you for posting on our Community page!

The QR code would be made available as part of the multi-factor (2 factor) enrolment process. You will receive the code via email from your IT department or you could transfer the account via Bluetooth. Should the QR not work, you can sign in with the URL which is, usually yourcompanyname.okta.com

Please follow the instructions listed under the "Codes and Key" section of the following article:

    https://help.okta.com/eu/en-us/Content/Topics/end-user/ov-faq-ios.htm

That being said, if you still encounter problems, please reach out to your company's or service provider IT support for further investigations.

Thank you for reaching out to our Community and have a great day!
