Recently configured Okta SSO and working on test app. When I try to integrate DuoMFA using the doc below, the Duo IDP option does not appear under authenticators.
Per doc it mentions that if it does not show up, to try configuring the integration again.
- Click Finish to create the new Duo custom factor-only IdP authenticator.
- Navigate to Security → Authenticators.
- Verify that the new Duo OIDC custom IdP you created is shown in the list of authenticators on the "Setup" tab. If it is not shown, go back to Security → Identity Providers and try creating the OpenID IdP for Duo again.
The last step in the bullet section is where I'm having issues. the IDP does appear under Identity Providers but not under Authenticators to where I could then add it to the policy as an MFA factory requirement. I have recreated the config multiple times but still not showing as an authenticator option
I am able to enable DuoMFA as basic authenticator but I'm looking to do the OIDC integration per doc in order to do Duo Universal prompt which allow more features behind DuoMFA with Okta
Note that I'm currently using an Oktra trial instance and suspect it could be related to trial account.

Once you created the custom OIDC IDP as per the documentation, go back to the Okta Authenticator side, add authenticator and select
Creating the custom OIDC IDP does not automatically list it under the Authenticators list, you still need to click "Add authenticator" and select "IDP authenticator"
