Reset Authentication App

I have just got a new phone and reinstalled the Okta authentication app and it is asking me to verify my log in using the said app (which I am logged out of). Not sure how I can by pass this to log back into my account.

    You need an MFA reset on your account. For this please reach out to your Okta Administrator/IT Department/Helpdesk, which can do this for your account and then you will be able to set it up again on your new phone.

    maybe you can setup another okta verify on you new phone before you switch you phone next time.

    How do we reset the MFA on enduser phone? do we use the authenticator reset option on the user profile? will this send him the QR code they need to sign back in on their new phone?
