Hey there! Every time I login to Okta via Okta Verifty, the push notification to my phone always says that it's coming from near Dallas, TX. But I live in Denver. Wanted to check if's that should be looked into or that's fine...? (i'm just on my home wifi and not even on the VPN)
Even when running a Speed Test on Speedtest.net or Fast.com it will show a correct client location (Denver, CO) and different server location (Dallas, TX).

Hi,
Can you ask your IT department if you are using a split tunnel VPN where traffic for Okta is separate from the other traffic on your device?
Thank you,
This question was posted by someone I work with. That person is an end user. Everyone is working from home, and this particular end user has VPN disabled.

Thank you for posting on our Community page!
In this case, please contact your IT team to assist the user with re-enroling their device.
Also, have them check Time/Timezone settings to be set to Automatic.

Sure that's one of the things we can do. But we have reached out to Okta support and they recommended us to reach out to MaxMind to adjust the Geolocation IP and make a change correction request. MaxMind has responded, but we will do some more testing in Denver, CO to see if it shows up as Dallas, TX this week.
