    Hello Justin,

Thank you for reaching out to Okta Community. My name is Gabriela and I will try to answer to your question.

Okta offers MFA capabilities for RDP authentication. Alternatively, you may look into Advanced Server Access. It provides Zero Trust identity and gives you the capability to further restrict the access on the server. The below video will offer a short presentation over what Advanced Server Access is and how it improves the security of your server.

    Okta | Advanced Server Access

You may also check the documentation we have available on this topic, for further information and explanations: Information about Advanced Server Access.

For local connections, Windows Biometrics could be a solution as it provides an alternate way to log into devices and applications using a fingerprint, iris scan or facial recognition.
