udmzv (udmzv) asked a question.
Is there a way to have Okta running at every login for admin users on a server?
We have it enabled on RDP and it works fine but we are able to bypass the Okta by logging in using VMware, splashtop, or physically being in front of the server.

Hello Justin,
Thank you for reaching out to Okta Community. My name is Gabriela and I will try to answer to your question.
Okta offers MFA capabilities for RDP authentication. Alternatively, you may look into Advanced Server Access. It provides Zero Trust identity and gives you the capability to further restrict the access on the server. The below video will offer a short presentation over what Advanced Server Access is and how it improves the security of your server.

For local connections, Windows Biometrics could be a solution as it provides an alternate way to log into devices and applications using a fingerprint, iris scan or facial recognition.
