AuthApiError: You do not have permission to access the feature you are requesting

Hi there,

 

I have set up an app using the following tutorial:

https://developer.okta.com/docs/guides/embedded-siw/main/

 

When i reload the page, I get the error:

AuthApiError: You do not have permission to access the feature you are requesting

 

The url that the error comes from is:

https://${ORG}.oktapreview.com/oauth2/default/.well-known/openid-configuration

 

Is there something in the Okta API Scopes that i need to grant? or is there somewhere within the admin section that would give me more details on what permission is required?

    Laura is correct, you are seeing this error because your Okta tenant lacks the API Access Management license. If your use case does not require the use of custom scopes, claims, access policies/rules, inline hooks, or anything else that is only possible with a custom Authorization Server, you could look to use the Org Authorization Server.

     

    To use this server, you will need to set `issuer` in your Widget config to just your Okta domain (will not end with /oauth2/{{authorizationServerId}}
