er94z (er94z) asked a question.
Hello,
I have some questions regarding integrating a custom identity proofing solution with Okta (like the ones in the OIN).
For what I have read and seen, I understand the only procedures to make an integration like this is to use Workflows (conectors and templates)?
Is there other way (preferible an standard way, like OIDC)?
My objective is to make a custom action and later on propose an official integration in Okta Integration Network.
I have read too about other integration solutions, but I don´t know how I may approximate my solution with these.
For more detail, its like a redirect/callback flow to an external page that handles identity proofing and then returns to Okta.
Any kind of help and feedback is appreciated…
Thank you!

Hi @er94z (er94z) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
As far as I can see, currently there is no Identity Proofing implementation via OIDC methods. It's only done via Workflows in conjunction with a third-party service.
You can suggest a Feature Enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

Alternatively, you can reach out to your Okta Account Executive to discuss setting up a consultation for a custom deployment.
If my answers helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!
