This is the first time you are connecting to xxx from this browser

Each time we login get this this message: This is the first time you are connecting to xxx from this browser. It happens everytime, not just the first time. Is there a way of stopping this from happening?

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Please see below for more information on this type of detection:

    About Behavior Detection

In it you will find a reference to browsers, stating:

"A device that hasn't been the source of a prior, successful sign-in attempt. A device is based on the client. Changing the browser is considered new device. The Improved New Device Behavior Detection feature provides a better mechanism for detecting new devices for browsers that store HTTP cookies. Device Behavior Detection is based on data passed from a web browser and a trusted application. For details about this feature, see Improved New Device Behavior Detection"

That secondary link may also help you identify the root cause of this. Finally, I would recommend checking out the system logs to give you an idea on what Okta is picking up as a change between the two login attempts. Thanks!
