GaniduM.74910 (Customer) asked a question.

Profile details (EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE THE USER) is not showing in MFA step, forget password flow

I have integrated MFA authentication in my mobile app which supports sign in and forget password using OKTA -idx ios and android modules.

Also i have configured MFA when user signs in and executing forget password flow.

When in sign in flow, when the user prompts to the select factors, user's email and phone number is visible.

But when in forget password flow profile details returns empty and phone number and email details are empty.

What could be the reason behind this ??

Do i need to configure any policies in order to return phone number and email address in forget password flow

Hello @GaniduM.74910 (Customer) Thank you for reacting out to our Community!

If you are referring to the front end password reset flow, then this would be expected behaviour as this should force the user to manually type the information in rather then just prompt it for the user to see the option to use, this is like so as a security measure.
