Verify with Email Authentication Service Timeout within 1 min

I have enabled MFA with Email. Current Email OTP token lifetime (minutes) is set to be 10 min. However, when users are trying to sign in to the okta using MFA via email, Email Authentication screen doesn't accept the code if 1 min is passed during the process. It asks for the user password again and MFA code is again sent to the email.

It is not possible for many users to retrieve there MFA code from email and put it in okta authentication screen within 1 min. Can anyone share there input for me to resolve the issue.

Hi @NabeelI.13529 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

The only reason I can think of that could be causing this is a device time skew issue. Have your users set the device time/timezone to automatic and retry the flow.

We have already tested the timeout on standalone workstation with automatic time/timezone settings.
