Is there a way to ensure that an email is used once so there aren't duplicate emails that are saved in OKTA.
A user account is created with that same email, for some reason, the endpoint is going through and saving it as a new record. We'd like it to only use the email once and reject the user if the email already exists in the DB/Store.

Hi @EdgarM.66496 (Customer),
Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!
I have done some research but unfortunately I wasn't able to find a way in which you could make the primary email address to be unique, therefore I would assume that you could submit a feature request in case you would like to see such functionality. The best way to file a feature request would be from the community site.
Once feature requests are submitted they are visible to other Okta admins, who can vote on them to provide more visibility. Using this method will allow you to maintain visibility on your feature requests throughout the process.
Additionally, there is a functionality on the Okta Classic Engine which makes the username the same as the primary email address and since the username has to be unique it will force you to create accounts with unique email addresses but this might restrain your usernames capabilities since the username value will be exactly the same as the value of the primary email address for all users.
