Salesforce OIN app provisioning after deprecating legacy APIs

Hello all,

 

I just saw an email from Okta about Salesforce deprecating their legacy version platform APIs next summer.

 

We only use the "Update User Attributes" option seen below and we've configured the OAuth/REST integration (under Integration) as well. The email has a link to the related Okta document and it talks about the related integration, but there's no mentions about the "Provisioning to App" section and so my question is; will these Okta -> SFDC user attribute updates work after next summer?

    Thank you for posting on the Okta community page!

     

    The provisioning functionalities should still be available and work after Salesforce deprecates their legacy version platform because only the APIs used for provisioning will change.

    Could you please clarify if the all 3 basic functions will remain active after the mentioned changes: Create Users, Update User Attributes, Deactivate Users?

    Salesforde Provisioning tabOr it means That function "Create Users" will no longer be available and we can only use Update or Deactivate the user, and there will be a Salesforce app built-in JIT user creation function to create new user.

    Salesforce Single Sign-On Settings - Edit SSO profile, Just-in-time provisioning BTW, what is the "Salesforce OIN" app ?
