I have Salesforce integrated with okta. We want to auto populate okta username when the user clicks SP URL embedded within email. This email is sent by Salesforce.
I am able to append okta username for okta url like this login/login.htm?username=test.user@test.com
But i am unable to make this work for SP initiated URL. Any ideas?

This might be archivable using custom sign in page, as mentioned here in this thread:

However since we are also talking about SP initiated login and the login site is Salesforce you might want to check with their Support to see what they accept to be appended to the SO initiated login.
