I'm trying to see if there's a way for my SP to pass the username query param to the login page that the saml endpoint redirects to to autofill the username field. Or if there's some other means of keeping the user from having to enter their username in the Okta login flow. (We're collecting it on our SP and don't want them to have to re-enter it.)

Looked like from this other discussion (https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D51Y00007tDVfb/adding-email-address-to-the-saml-url?language=en_US) that isn't possible, but I just wanted to confirm that was still the case and that there wasn't some other means of doing this.
